Solution
Fort Dearborn Company initiated a VMI program and worked with the customer to develop a custom model using their forecast data including their plant stock and FDC’s on hand inventory. The forecast flagged items for redesign as well as for no usage after run out date, resulting in an improved service level and measurable savings.
